I dunno if I had been as appreciative of Vancouver before leaving for Japan, but this year, I'm just constantly noticing the jewel that is our city. Was riding the skytrain today to downtown library, and there was a crystal clear view of the mountains. Snow covered and rising over the city...To think that this is basically my backyard!
at esquire coffee near metro, about to get down to work. I gotta plan wednesday's lesson for socials, and i'm pretty much good for the week. (except there's no such thing as an end for the next little while, but it just makes me feel better to be on top of things.)
Nice place here. Will probably come back, cuz Waves 2 doors down seems like it's gonna be uber busy all the time.
No Canucks in the forseeable future. I hope they get out of this funk soon. It's been ages since we last won in regulation... and it feels like ages since we last won a game, period.
